Circadian Rhythms

Our bodies strive to maintain regular sleep patterns through regulating our "internal clock" otherwise known as our circadian rhythms. This internal cycle takes cues from external light sources (dawn and dusk) to signal the body for sleeping and waking. When regular exposure to natural light is interrupted, natural sleep patterns can be disrupted leading to sleeplessness, sluggishness, reduced mental acuity and exhaustion.
