Nicholas Harmon acquired Verilux in 1991, and in a few short years turned Verilux into the most dynamic and innovative company in the healthy lighting market.

Prior to acquiring Verilux, Nicholas specialized in the recycling and waste management business. Working as Director of Sales for Pacific Rim Environmental from 1988 to 1990, Nicholas expanded Pacific Rim’s redemption center operations to over 100 Northern California supermarkets, and developed and grew its nascent hazardous waste disposal operations throughout California.

Nicholas holds a Bachelors Degree from Columbia University and a Masters Degree from Northwestern University.
